Hello, I am Jane Guinn. I’m 58 years old and a mother of 3 beautiful daughters. They all have children of their own and another beautiful boy on his way.

I have always taken a working role in my marriage to help support my family and by that I mean working odd hours around the clock to support my husband’s hours during the day.

I worked the majority of my hours in the middle of the night so that I could then take care of the needs of my family during the day. I worked 360 days per year from Midnight until 7am. I threw over 600 papers every night. Wow, talk about crazy.

To many of us, Leiomyosarcoma is a word that is made up from a dream. This is exactly how i felt when the GYN blurted it out the morning after the surgery. Then, it became a nightmare!

Please do not let any part of your medical history become a nightmare. Be proactive by getting your “Pap Smears” and any other Cancer screenings that they can give you.

Remember, you do not have to have a certain Cancer in your family genetic tree to have this demon disease. I had never heard of Leiomyosarcoma before. It does not run in my family and the only way to detect it is through a CT Scan and Pathology Test for all Cancers.
